Lacquer is in great shape, 95% in tact, with only some speckling here and there and some light wear in the usual places. One of the earlier ones(late 1940's, serial#278,XXX) that has pearl on the palm and side keys, and engraving on some of the keys as well as really ornate bell engraving, and the silver neck as well. This is a fantastic vintage for these horns. This is a really nice Super 20 alto- purchased it from the original owner about 4 years ago. more Selmer mouthpiece, mouthpiece cover, the original plastic and chain neck strap, and a box of 8 unused#3 Rico Reeds, for whatever they are worth, and we don't know how old they are.

The other items included as pictured are the plastic. There is also a key attached to the inside wall of the case, that can actually lock the case, but seems it has never been used. With red velvet interior, and itself is in very good condition. The saxophone comes in the original red hard shell case. The pearl inlays on the keys are all there, and in mint condition. The saxophone looks great, and the tone is quite superb, as you would expect. The pads are in very good condition, as well, and there is one picture included to try and show that. The exterior is in very good condition, with just a few minor scratches, very polished and shiny. On the bell it says"King Super 20, The H. Which we have determined was made in 1951.

Up for auction is a Vintage King Super 20 Alto Saxophone.
